The Non-Refundable Booking Fee

When you book online you can pay a Non-Refundable Booking Fee of 20% of your package price, or pay in full. This fee secures your reserved date/time slot and will be credited toward your final service balance upon completion.

The 48-hour rule

• Cancel or reschedule 48 hours or more before your scheduled appointment: your Non-Refundable Booking Fee stays credited toward a rescheduled appointment, or is handled per Detail X's business policy.
• Cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment: the 20% Non-Refundable Booking Fee is forfeited.

Refunds

• The 20% Non-Refundable Booking Fee is never refunded when you cancel.
• If you paid more than the booking fee (for example, you paid in full), everything above the 20% fee is refunded to your card when you cancel.
• Refunds go back to the original card and usually appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
